M246 Monochrom Firmware

Can anyone please advise if the Monochrom M246 uses the same Firmware as the M240. The reason I ask is that I've just got a new Monochrom and wondered if I should update it to 2.0.1.5. I did ask in the shop and was told it SHOULD be okay, but naturally I'd like to double check.

 

I have unsuccessfully tried a Search and should I have missed it I apologise.

I have just checked on the Leica site and there is no update for the Leica M Monochrom (246).

 

The current firmware is 1.0.0.4

No, you can't use the firmware for the M240. It's different systems.
