MarkP Posted July 26, 2015 Share #2 Posted July 26, 2015 Very nice Digby. I've photographed it in B&W but with my Contax T3 so I can't post here. Have been meaning to go back with my Monochrom - thanks for the reminder. It is an extraordinary building. The curved walls, overhangs, exophytic windows, and subtle protrusions of the brickwork are wonderful in the right light. A shame it's so hemmed in by its surroundings. The brick protrusions are my favourite detail. 'Exophytic'- what a great word ! Look forward to any interior shots you end up with.
topoxforddoc Posted July 31, 2015 Share #7 Posted July 31, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Really interesting architecture and the image does it real justice. Love the juxtaposition of the organic curves with the straight lines.
Guest )-( Posted August 14, 2015 Share #8 Posted August 14, 2015 Nice shot Digby. Hope it's OK to post here, this one is of the same building, around the side (M9/21SEM) I can't say I'm as much of a fan of the building, I prefer the new UTS Faculty of Engineering and IT building just up on Broadway and 'Building 7' opposite - UTS have certainly been keeping a lot of architects in business (and photographers happy!) This is the FEIT building interior.
