So, where were you Ropo and ocean2059?

What is that yellow building up there? Why did you take that photograph? Why don’t you people tell us, what there is in your images? Is the quality of your lenses all that matters?

All right, now I know: Alcatraz. But what is that forest in the middle of the image? Why has it been left there? Do you have images taken inside that forest?

The image you referred to was taken from Twin Peaks in San Francisco overlooking downtown San Francisco. The forest in the middle of the image is the Buena Vista Park, oldest (1867) official park in San Francisco. I travel to San Francisco for work often and I always try to visit Twin Peaks whenever possible. I highly recommend this place to visit. Here is another image take with a wide angle lens (Summarit-S 35mm with S2).

S006 with Contax645 120 APO, even I don't use it often but I think this 120APO is a truly exceptional on multiple levels: rendering (beautiful bokeh), CA control, build(again, THE best), features.(1:1) This is one of my desert island glasses.

I don't know if anyone else noticed that S will have fast response time with Contax or with Hasselblad dumb V adapter. The shutter delay is noticeable less.  It seems S lenses always have extra communications with camera before exposure.

Here is one with Leica C adapter S and C645 80mm at f2, S006

One good thing about C645 glasses is I can make full use of them for both Leica S and Fuji GFX system with room to spare in coverage. (usually means calm corner rendering)

They are not pixel level top contender other than maybe C120 but a charm to use with soft rendering and usually be small and light (compare to S) with physical focus ring than focus by wire (compare to GFX glasses).

Nice! While I love the shape of the pot, I'd still try cropping. The flowers get a bit lost in all that space. (I'd also do a B&W conversion with the red channel boosted to white, but I'm weird that way..🤪)

Thanks, Matt.

If you have a moment,  please feel free to post your edit.  (I did do some crops of the pot and completely agree with your suggestion).  Something like this?  Btw, this was taken with the S 100 and SL, notS

Color may work better...

The B&W treatment I had in mind makes it look too much like a negative! Yours is better.

I also chose a tighter crop, but again, I think I prefer yours.
