My wish list would include the S3 or  007, bellows, a Leica lens, and a Stackshot on the camera end to automatically create each stack.

If on bellows then only a Leica R lens, I have contacted Cognisys in the past and they have no plans to cater for the propriety connector on the S series 😞

I should have said 'Leica quality lens'.  I have been wishing/lusting for some kind of solution for some years, but since I am not knowledgeable with any current or past equipment, I got excited with the Novoflex bellows.  It may only be operated manually at the camera end, so I would need a good enough lens to satisfy the 'quality' demand.

PS  Paul DeZeeuw of Cognisys has told me - "Hi John,

Yes, we can still build a shutter interface cable for your Leica. We can either modify a remote shutter switch you send us for $45 or we can purchase the cable and modify it for $189.

Best regards,

Paul"

But now a whole new set of issues must be dealt with, if I need/want the Stackshot to move the camera.

Ain't we got fun?

Sure, 100% crop follows

Helge, thank you so much for opening up this universe, I can only dream of the possibilities with all this equipment.

I hope you make this into a series, very interesting imagery!

And I like the look of the first one with the focus stacking the most, it has a nice soft fairy-like look with more than enough sense of detail.

The Elmarit looks really nice too, the Zeiss looks well, like a Zeiss, for my personal taste not as fairytale-like as the subject.

Again, thanks for sharing these!

Finally had a chance to get to the beach after 3 months of Covid-19 illness. Mostly shooting with strobe and CS lenses.

However, caught a nice available light candid of a friend who was helping me ... shot with the S(006) and the 180/3.5
