How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

120 APO-Summarit 

 

S is absolutely my favorite portrait system, it may not obvious viewing at display size here, but tone resolution and color just a step above any 35mm system I have tried (at least for my process skill)

it partially comes from Lens, partially come from MF CCD sensor size and 16 bit color depth. The whole package just works.

 

If new S can support electronic shutter and made the mirror more damped with good DR 60M+ sensor, it might be my ultimate one for all system.

This is a very difficult image for me to get color right. It was under harsh light afternoon with side/back light. I get ton of blue haze in image, the sensor just seems see very differently in color and tone than my eyes saw.

If you are using Lightroom try the following Hue settings.

Aqua +10

Blue +5

See if that makes a difference.

This is a very difficult image for me to get color right. It was under harsh light afternoon with side/back light. I get ton of blue haze in image, the sensor just seems see very differently in color and tone than my eyes saw.
