camera's low, the athlet's looking down as if you used a foldable waist-level or a chimney finder on a 6x6, though it obviously is a S

so:

how often do you use a tripod for your very outstanding portraits?

HI buddy

 

I never usea tripod though one thing I am learning with the S is that it may be a good idea to. I tend to be more spontaneous than a tripod allows, especially as I am approaching strangers and a) don't want to lose time to set up and B) intimidate them more than needed.

 

That said, even with the 70mm Summarit I'm finding 1/250s sometimes shows a little motion blur.
