Leica S

120mm f2.5 Macro lens

This picture was shot at the annual event called Pacu Jawi Bull race in West Sumatra Indonesia

I shot most of the event with a Nikon D4s 300mm f2.8 but also tried my luck with my Leica S and out of about 20 pictures shot with the S this is the best I could get..............This is a high energy, adrenaline pumped event where jockeys stand on an yoke that is attached to two bulls. The jockey Then grabs the tails of the bulls and bites on the tails to make them run faster. As a photographer the best shots are taken directly in line of where the bull are running and basically you get to hell out of the way at the last minute trying to fill the frame with all the mayhem unfolding right in your face.

Not for the weak hearted :)
