How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

Piece by piece this old dock is disappearing at what once was a bait shop and store on the north side of Choctawhatchee Bay in Walton County, Florida.  (S007 + Super Elmar-S 24 + 6-Stop ND Filter.)

These are the settings I use when exporting from Lightroom, resulting in a file size <500 KB.  Note the check mark in the box, Limit File Size to:500 K.

Very nice mate but I think you left an awful lot of information on the table........PScc or lightroom can get you a lot more detail out of that S007 file

i choose 1280 and 490kb, so the forum software doesn't resize and compress again...though i don't know if that still applies to this new forum software

 

easier and slightly better in capture one..not to mention multiple simultaneous exports
