thighslapper Posted July 18, 2015 Share #1  Posted July 18, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Spent an entertaining hour chasing bees and hoverflies in the garden this afternoon .... Leica Q in macro mode with a Marumi +5 diopte achromat on the front. The AF is lightning quick .... even at the working distance of 5cm .... which is just as well as the little bu**ers flit around and never stay still. Eventually had to resort to 1/500sec and even that was barely enough. I suppose it's bonkers using a 28mm lens as a base for macro photos .... but I thought I would give it a try ..... Thanks for looking.  Welcome, dear visitor! pauledell Posted July 18, 2015 Share #10  Posted July 18, 2015 An excellent series wit the lovely flowers and their visitors. The colors are gorgeous, the sharpness is so acute that the fuzz on the bees can be counted.  Paul
