zUpm4n Posted July 11, 2015 Share #1 Posted July 11, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Leica Q - After only 10 days i have this "problem" on rear Screen Display LCD. The Screen clicks when lightly pressed like its not glued properly. Problem is mostly on center and left side. https://youtu.be/UYRKpRCBy_E In the first days screen was ok, i have used Leica sporadically in this period and only for test's shoots in home; so no intensive. I don't know if is a normal plastic noise, but in my opinion it's strange that during the first days it was ok. Opinions or experiences !?! Advertisement Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 Hi zUpm4n, Take a look here Leica Q Issue - Lcd rear Screen Flexing and Clicks on Center/Left Side. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
piran Posted July 11, 2015 Share #2 Posted July 11, 2015 Has the Q experienced any 'heat' - hot sunshine :: left in car etc - where any glue might have been affected?
zUpm4n Posted July 11, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted July 11, 2015 I have used it only @ home, never left in car, etc ...in these 10 days I had many business commitments
piran Posted July 11, 2015 Share #4 Posted July 11, 2015 Bit worrying... I'm still waiting on 'pre-order' though surely by now it's really 'back-order'.
bernie.lcf Posted July 11, 2015 Share #5 Posted July 11, 2015 Get it fixed. Mine is still fine after a month of usage inside and outside. Outside currently means up to 38 degrees.
digitalfx Posted July 11, 2015 Share #6 Posted July 11, 2015 (edited) Look at the other post on LCD, there are over a dozen people with the same issue...I reported this a month ago. http://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/246724-warning-q-rear-screen-fragile/?p=2841725 If you look in this thread you will see many people with the same issue. I suspect its a design issue. Mysteriously mine stopped doing it. I think its just the outer glass and related to the touch screen.
