stuny Posted January 25, 2018 Share #172 Posted January 25, 2018 Exceptionally well done. I have experienced "red" problems with several different Leica cameras -- the problem being over-blooming which I ameliorated by backing off saturation just a bit. BTW: My two favorite of your models are the ones in these images (though you have many more of both models), which kind of hints at my physical ideals: http://www.pbase.com/hoppyman/image/166157725 http://www.pbase.com/hoppyman/image/162873205
hoppyman Posted January 25, 2018 Author Share #173 Posted January 25, 2018 (edited) Thanks Stuart. Being a little light-hearted with my reds comment of course. In general I find that the default rendering from the DNG files is a little restrained in the colour palette, while higher contrast but the raw file is just the beginning in developing the finished image. For this one actually Alessandra's freshly re-dyed hair has had local adjustment for increased clarity (micro contrast) saturation and sharpness during developing for extra impact.Colour spaces, developing choices, exposure decisions, lighting, viewing media, intended purpose (web, print etc) are all the voodoo you can want to affect the images as seen. Thanks for linking to those couple that you really like too. Sil has Catalan heritage and from South AmericaMy dear friend Sammz has been a shoot partner for some years and our projects history is a catalog of her hair adventures along the way.Currently she has grown out her undercut and is sporting a full headed blonde style#162 in this thread Edited January 25, 2018 by hoppyman

hoppyman Posted February 21, 2018 Author Share #176 Posted February 21, 2018 Working again today with this young woman whom I met at a workshop a few years back. Now 20 with a career and just occasionally freelance with a few people that she enjoys working with. I try to shoot a set for the MUA especially before we start the remainder of the shoot. This MUA is a great friend too and we work together lots. Her look here is perfection and there is almost zero retouching here.S (Typ 007) Apo Macro Summarit S 120 Welcome, dear visitor!
