MarkP Posted August 7, 2015 Share #21 Posted August 7, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks for posting these Geoff. #15 is my favourite - very natural, looks unposed and really feels like you captured her personality.

The best models posing look unposed ;-) Katrine does have a lovely face too.Her hair is carefully sculpted into that style for example with that one perfect tendril specifically created by the HMUA too. Brenton C Posted December 15, 2015 Share #30 Posted December 15, 2015 Wow! If I believed I could do this, I'd mortgage the house for an S! It's especially impressive when considering the Australian sun makes most women look like Phyllis Diller before they reach 30.
hoppyman Posted December 15, 2015 Author Share #31 Posted December 15, 2015 (edited) Thanks, I think Brenton I don't know where you live but lots of young people here are very sun smart these days. Liz has healthy no sunbaking skin toning actually, being a dancer performing in public events etc.Liz does have excellent skin (and is well under 30!). Here I elected to do no skin texture retouching at all.Of course the reproduced skin tone is also (intentionally) influenced by her make up, my lighting and the BW conversion choices. The lens and camera have their latest FW and I find that the AF focus is quick and accurate if I use that, starting from a manual focus selection. If the lens were for instance focussed to a macro position or infinity then of course there is considerable travel.I haven't actually installed the accessory focus screen (I had in my S2) with microprism collar and split image as yet, while I learn the AF performance. Bateleur Posted December 15, 2015 Share #33 Posted December 15, 2015 I'm glad this thread is active as I'm prompted to return and relive the pleasure of your images Geoff. The gorgeous results belie the work that goes into making such images and I'm looking forward to more results! Keep up the good work! hoppyman Posted December 15, 2015 Author Share #34 Posted December 15, 2015 (edited) Oh thanks Charles. I am shooting lots but only a small portion fits with my portraits theme in this thread of course. Editing a lot and trying to catch up. I am behind on sharing here, my main galleries on PBase, Instagram and Tumblr right now ;-)I think I have another thread somewhere for non-portraits. Must check into that! I have shot 2000 frames or so with the Typ 007 so far and 15000 or so with the S2.Edit: the other thread where I will put more of the general studio shots is herehttp://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/248412-studio-fashion-with-the-s-system/I'll need to populate that a lot more starting soon.
