Louis Posted June 24, 2015 Share #3 Posted June 24, 2015 Gorgeous! Iduna, are you using another site such as Zenfolio, or other to store your photos? If you do, you can post several shots from there in the same post, instead of making different posts in the same thread as is required in the LUF new version! Iduna Posted June 24, 2015 Author Share #5 Posted June 24, 2015 Louis, thanks for your nice response . Yes. I use 500 px. You'll find me there under "Idunavision". It is cionnected with a shop. The handling is easy because there is no need of scaling down the pictures. But as the LUF now develops it is for me much more personel and the exchange among users is on a very advanced level which you won't find anywhere else. Not on Flickr and not on 500 px. Flickr is much too bulky, 500 px is quick, high level but not camparable to LUF under the aspect of contact among users. Paul, I am really grateful to find your nice and reliable feedback. It is much appreciated and helpful as always. From this weekend on we'll be staying in the Us for 2 weeks, mainly San Francisco and the Big Sur. The rest will be spent in NYC and NJ. Louis Posted June 25, 2015 Share #8 Posted June 25, 2015 Louis, thanks for your nice response . Yes. I use 500 px. You'll find me there under "Idunavision". It is cionnected with a shop. The handling is easy because there is no need of scaling down the pictures. Flickr is much too bulky, 500 px is quick, high level but not camparable to LUF under the aspect of contact among users. Therefore, it should be easy for you to embed your shots from that site. In this case, you won't be limited in number and size as the new LUF is requiring! You can have a thread with many shots instead of having different posts in the same thread for each shot! Iduna Posted June 25, 2015 Author Share #9 Posted June 25, 2015 Dee, I am delighted that you like the pictures. You are right, The look is possible because of those fabulous lenses. One can create anything that lines out the character of the subject. More and more often I keep the contrast sliders very moderate. With these lenses it is not necessary to enforce anything. So processing is very easy and quick if the exposure and light is right from the beginning. Thanks for your nice response.
Northwest Wanderer Posted June 25, 2015 Share #10 Posted June 25, 2015 Iduna, The white rose image is very nice. Seeing detail in a white flower shows the care you take with your images.
