Leica T, 350mm Telyt-R plus Leica 2x Apo Extender R, f5.6 (f11) 1/160 ISO 400.   Fallow Deer 87m distant; measured with Leica Laser Rangefinder.

Went to Burghley Park this afternoon where met up with forum member Mike J to test some tele lenses with my Leica T. We proved that a recently acquired Zuiko 500mm mirror lens has been assembled incorrectly during its recent service to remedy stiff focus … it will not focus on any subject more than 90m distant regardless of camera used. Then for the first time tried the 1981 (34 years young :)  )  350mm Telyt R with a 2x APO Extender on the Leica 'T' and pleasantly surprised by the sharpness ... but CA evident.

Best wishes

I'm advised by a forum friend that my PP is not quite right and the image is oversaturated … and does not have the degree of CA as implied.

With his assistance a better result has been achieved without the previous degree of CA:

Thank you Michael :)

I'm allegedly (according to official tests) totally colour blind thus my results often show 'off' colour balances … which is why I prefer working under studio conditions with constant known colour temperature lighting.
