This is certainly not a poppy color I'm used to seeing around where i live. What a terrific variety and image!

I agree with Ece. This is a strange colour indeed and a very fine light bokeh i adding to this mysterious appearing.

I have taken that photograph in a herbal garden where they grow plants traditionally used for pharmaceutic purposes. Indeed, I have seen fields of poppies of that color in movies taken in Afghanistan, where poppy is grown for making drugs. So it would be advisable not to grow those at home, I think. It's called Papaver somniferum, the opium poppy.
