We used to grow Poppies until one night I caught a devious looking character with an armful he had just pulled up from our garden. No idea what he thought he was going to do with them. pop Posted June 3, 2015 Author Share #7  Posted June 3, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Stuart, Paul, Brent, Ece, Iduna and the friends with the "Thanks"-Button - thank you very much; I appreciate your feedback.  I have taken that photograph in a herbal garden where they grow plants traditionally used for pharmaceutic purposes. Indeed, I have seen fields of poppies of that color in movies taken in Afghanistan, where poppy is grown for making drugs. So it would be advisable not to grow those at home, I think.
