Hunebed Posted May 12, 2015 Author Share #5 Posted May 12, 2015 These are jackdaws, Corvus monedula, the smallest member of the crow family in holland. They like to block chimneys by building nests in these. Many people do not like them for that. I used to tame young taken from the nest when i was a kid. :-( There was no agression visible. The only explanation i could think of here, is that a parent wanted to ward off its grown ofspring from its teritory. Hence the docile behavior of the two below.
