k-hawinkler Posted May 4, 2015 Share #1  Posted May 4, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Clouds can build up all day long and obscure the Sun. However, late in the day Sunlight may break finally through. That's when the magic light happens - if only for a brief moment.  Here is such a case.   The Bandelier National Monument Visitor Center is obscured by the trees. But one can see the permanent flood barrier (covered in yellow plastic) along the Frijoles creek protecting the visitor center. As this picture was taken fairly late in the afternoon we see the vulture roost already occupied by early arrivals.
