allamande Posted May 3, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted May 3, 2015 Thank you Stuart! It's not a "highly" technical image by any means , but I was happy to be able to snap the fluttering wings in that mess of bright color before she flew away. All is well. It's the usual busy time as the school year is winding down (where did the time go?). Not much time for photography (except for some iPhone snaps). My best to you and Barbara. Ece Thank you for the Likes!
Northwest Wanderer Posted May 4, 2015 Share #4 Posted May 4, 2015 Hummingbirds are always a challenge to photograph. You've found yourself a new photo project. Have fun.
Tom Barry Posted May 4, 2015 Share #5 Posted May 4, 2015 As Mr. Schneider said, they're a challenge, but a rewarding one. Well done.
allamande Posted May 5, 2015 Author Share #6 Posted May 5, 2015 Bill and Tom, I appreciate your taking a look at this and your encouraging comments very much! I love these birds, maybe partly because they are so elusive. No creature I know moves at such speeds to stay in place. Gotta admire that. My garden is planted to maximize hummingbird presence and they don't disappoint. Ece
