Thank you Stuart! It's not a "highly" technical image by any means :mellow: , but I was happy to be able to snap the fluttering wings in that mess of bright color before she flew away.

All is well. It's the usual busy time as the school year is winding down (where did the time go?). Not much time for photography (except for some iPhone snaps).

Bill and Tom, I appreciate your taking a look at this and your encouraging comments very much! I love these birds, maybe partly because they are so elusive. No creature I know moves at such speeds to stay in place. Gotta admire that.

My garden is planted to maximize hummingbird presence and they don't disappoint.
