What do you think yourself?

To me . .  Planar.

Why: Look at the subdued shining in the glass and that shine in the background. So well balanced;

- a Sonnar would maybe render different, but on B/W the color fringing it sometimes carries is not visible.

I'm sorry for the confusion as I meant it's not the APO. It's the Summicron with the retractable hood.

Calling Zeiss a poor man's lens, wouldn't do it justice. I have them for the Canon and the Hasselblad. Especially the 80mm Planar. Came as a package with the 501cm, but what a mighty lens that one is! Beats every Leica lens I own in the looks department. Just a pity the system is a pain to have with me 24/7.

Therefore, I shoot it far too little.

You mean the summicron R for reflex cameras?

I always thought to get one but I would like to use it on a Leicolta....however:

No Cuthbert, it's the Summicron V.

Secondhand it's a great lens for the money, especially compared with the APO. A great lens, but a bit out of my price league. [emoji1]

Ellie, love the photo.

I'm not familiar with that lens ( I still use the DR) but sometimes I think about buying a Leicolta with Summicron R.

However, this thread needs more bokeh.

The left bottle is the fuel that is measured; these cars run 1L:200 km or much less.

No real equality between sexes not in the pits: I saw many girls in the teams as driver, far too little with a screwdriver

This one done in LR, shows higher acuity than C1 while it has higher graininess.
