brill64 Posted April 18, 2015 Share #1 Posted April 18, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) i've found that i've frequently unknowingly reset some camera settings, mostly iso from 400 to 3600, wifi, focus point, exposure mode by accident. is there a way to prevent this from happening with touchscreen & dials once they are set when running about? it's user error for sure but i haven't figured out how to fix it yet. any similar thing happening with other T users? Advertisement Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Hi brill64, Take a look here Accidental Touchscreen/Dial Activation. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
FeralCoton Posted April 19, 2015 Share #2 Posted April 19, 2015 Touch the disk so the two rectangles show in the LCD screen. Tap and good the one that says I SO until a lock appears in the middle of the screen. To unlock it, do the same thing.
AndreasAM Posted April 19, 2015 Share #3 Posted April 19, 2015 (edited) Or you can lock the touchscreen by swiping down on the right side of the touchscreen, where the three icons reside (from top to bottom). Once locked the three icons turn grey.To unlock it, swipe up, icons turn white again. There is a little arrow to show the direction of swiping at the top and bottom of the right side of the screen. The dials continue to work, when the touchscreen is turned of. But they only change settings when you dial/touch it the second time, so no biggie there. It would be nice if the locking of the screen continued when you turn the camera of/on, or when it goes to sleep and wake up again, but that is a wish for the future firmware update. spylaw4 Posted April 20, 2015 Share #5 Posted April 20, 2015 I've shuffled as many items as possible off the quick menu to prevent accidental and unwanted adjustment.

spylaw4 Posted April 20, 2015 Share #7 Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks! Occasioned by a day shooting jpg only @ the lowest 1.8m resolution! And not noticing until I came to download! I decided that it was too easy to accidentally do this. Edited April 20, 2015 by spylaw4
