I thought, I'd share a few pictures of the proper tool to be used for building your own strap based on the T-Strap.

Basically, you'll need a watch band pin remover / watch band link remover. This sells on Amazon for as low as 3$. The one on the picture is slightly higher quality version for around $15.

This allows you to remove the silicon strap in a non-destructive way and then fit your own choice of leather (or other) strap.

Of course, it would be possible to use a nail and a hammer, but the watch band tool is the proper tool.

Yes, I am into watches as well and figured that this should be right tool to use.

I have also attached another picture just to point out something that should be obvious...

Brilliant suggestion! Works like a charm: here is proof!

Very elegant combo. May I ask you from which supplier / which brand this is?  I think the strap and half case match the T very well!

Thanks! I think it matches perfectly as well. They are Arte di Mano 1\2 case and strap. I got them through the Leica store Miami. They carry all the Arte di Mano leather products.

I need some help with pin removal, I tried this with a cheap watch tool as recommended and broke the tools pin.  I then tried tapping the pin with a small watch punch with virtually no movement.  Is there a correct direction to remove the pin on the strap hardware?  Thanks
