Wasn´t more usefull to include a filter with glass to protect the lens? Does any of you use neutral filters on your leica lenses?

Does any of you use neutral filters on your leica lenses?  It is to protect the thread for the hood. The filter thread is on the inside. It is purely cosmetic. beckzito Posted March 12, 2015 Share #67  Posted March 12, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Received today metabones adapter so from now will begin to use the summarit with Sony A7.  Did a few in-house shots, medium to low light, and focus is something to learn, thats for sure. Anyway, maybe i should tweak focus peaking to medium or even low level as, with no magnification, is hard to see if the object is totally in focus(mainly, the red color may be where we want focus to be but not at 100%).  A sample at ISO 6400, f/2.8 and 1/30: Welcome, dear visitor! chrismuc Posted March 31, 2016 Share #68 Â Posted March 31, 2016 Hi Beck, how does the M35f2.4 asph. perform on the Sony A7 (btw. which one?), especially regarding edge/corner sharpness at f2.8-f4? Is corner sharpness on the Sony A7 the same like on a Leica M or worse? Thx Chris
