FredR Posted January 28, 2015 Share #1 Posted January 28, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I pulled out the Pradovit Color 250 last night. After a few trays of slides, the projector would make a brief but grating squeal! after autofocus moved the lens. I've taken the projector apart once before to solder a new bulb switch in place, so I'm not shy of diving into it's innards, but is anyone already familiar with this issue and remedy? What is the appropriate lubricant, if applicable? Thanks in advance. Fred

Hugh 38 Posted February 3, 2015 Share #2 Posted February 3, 2015 The only time I have had to use any form of lubricant was on the changer mechanism on a CA2502 and I used a tiny bit of Vaseline petroleum jelly . It did the trick. Be careful with some plastics and nylon , as special lubricants are needed.
