M10 w/50mm Summilux pre-ASPH

It's fascinating seeing how quickly your daughter is turning from a child into a young woman. Before long you'll be posting shots of her wedding, then perhaps holding your grandchild. (I know I'm making a lot of assumptions here.)

Just two days ago, I received my copy of the Noctilux f/1.2 reissue, which I plan to use a lot, wide open, for portraits. I'm a fan of the look it produces.

So yesterday, I experimented on my granddaughter. I put my hat on her head and got her to stand still for a moment—not easy. M10-R, Noctilux f/1.2 at f/1.2.
