Brave work Greg, I can photograph dad, but I have a hard time looking at the photos.  His expression is often just somewhat confused.

 

It is hard and yet there's also a connection we make when I photograph my dad. He used to be a keen photographer himself and it's almost like there is a part of his mind that still connects with that ideal so when I point the camera at him, he re-engages a little. It's hard but it's also the best way I have of communicating with him.
