Amazing contrasts of colours. Really amazing.

And I'm a film guy myself, so extra "respeck" from me. Dunno when I'll give up on b&w XP2 and start with colour myself. But pickies like this inspire me to make the next step.

Thanks a lot Ric! To me the color of the Portra films is one of the most beautiful among analog films. Give it a try!

best regards

Having thoroughly retired after more than 20 years in the wedding/portrait business I don't do portraits anymore.

This is just an available light snapshot of Alex the golden child, my great nephew.

M9/Nocti

Got two red headed boys meself, and a blondie lad too. Wife's Swiss, in spite of my name I'm mostly a Brit so must be some red hair somewhere in the gene pool. The Swiss take one look at the redheads, then look at me, the Brit, and then give a nod of "it figures". I usually then point at the blondie and say "Hey, what about him? Is *he* a Brit too?"

Still learning to use this rangefinder thing!! This image was one of the first images I have taken with the M9 after years of shooting with Nikon, file is un-croped and unprocessed, it is as it came out of the camera. Settings were 400iso, 35mm Lummilux open to f2, 1/125 second. Am I doing this right?
