In-between dodging the resident addicts and wino's, and catching the last minutes of daylight, i managed to get some pleasing images, albeit at higher than i would have liked ISO, so i added some more grain in PP.

Next time, i will go in the morning, not afternoon

Harold - this is one of 7 'Magnificant' Victorian garden cemeteries in London, commissioned around 1840 when it was decreed that no further burials would take place in londons overcrowded local churches. This particular one is set in an arboretum with a small chapel (now also abandoned) in the centre of the cemetery and was noted by the Victorians as being a delightful place to walk and take tea.

Apparently, the planting was influenced in part by a cemetery in Boston.
