wonderful composition and perspective. I'm sure the blue hues in the distant hills were exactly how you saw them. It would take the image to a higher level for me if there would be a way to remove this hue in a way that keeps the sky blue.

Oh, it is not too hard to remove the haze. In LAB correct the colour in the curves in the channels, create a layer mask and apply to the image splitting the sliders in the blending options.(blend if + lightness) But I decided against it as it would lose the distance and depth in the shot.

Now you have three different layers working as coulisse.

That's all greek to me. I guess I do things the hard way....

I played around with it in LR before making my comment and didn't observe any loss of depth or distance. I may be wrong, though. I may also be hypersensitive to blueish hues in the sky, with an instinct to always want to remove them.
