jtorrents Posted December 29, 2014 Share #1  Posted December 29, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) First time I've got a corrupted photo from the M240...SD card (Panasonic SDHC 8 gig class 10) was freshly formatted with SDFormatter and then formatted in camera. It was the first photo. The rest are ok. Thumbnail in Mac OS shows the image, but Lightroom and Photoshop fail to show the DNG correctly. You can download original file here:  https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2325752/M1003681.DNG  if anybody happens to save the file I would be very grateful... Thanks a lot. Welcome, dear visitor! lct Posted December 29, 2014 Share #2 Â Posted December 29, 2014 Tried with various raw converters to no avail sorry. Sounds like your pic file is corrupted. I can recover the thumbnail though (160 x 120 pixels) if you're interested
jtorrents Posted December 29, 2014 Author Share #3 Â Posted December 29, 2014 Thanks a lot for try it! Any clue about the error?
jaapv Posted December 29, 2014 Share #4 Â Posted December 29, 2014 Yes. I had this sometimes. always on the same SD card. If you are lucky and shot raw+jpg fine, the .jpg file is probably OK. Throw the card in the dustbin.
jtorrents Posted December 29, 2014 Author Share #5 Â Posted December 29, 2014 Thanks Jaapv. Unfortunately I shot only raw. Will not use this card again...A little scary to lose shots due to a bad sd card...
Guest JonathanP Posted December 29, 2014 Share #6 Â Posted December 29, 2014 As the others have said unfortunately your raw data is corrupt, but the embedded preview image (1472 x 976 pixels) can be extracted - I've placed a copy here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2597136/luf/M1003681.jpg in case its of use.
