Here is the Summicron 50 /1:2.0 from 1957 and OVF for 75 mm lens. Very compact stuff isn't'it?:)

Happy pictures and Merry Xmas to all.

@ papimuzo: lovely combination the T with that summicron on it and the optical VF.

I'm just curious how it works in practical, do you manual focus through the LCD and than compose via VF ? Easy or ...?

robert

PS: sorry if too curious but I'm thinking of a similar combo...

No you are not too curious..:). I have to confess that with this combo I mainly use what was (is?) named zone focus . In fact as an amateur since 60 years, I was not so interested by the "bokey" given by a large aperture. So I adjust the main subject distance and sometimes confirm on the LCD, leaving the composition to the OVF. Of course, I make often a lot of lemons, but... who 'll be upset if not me?

I have to add that I use auto-ISO, deciding wich aperture I use, and using the right button to play speed vs ISO.

Happy new year with full of pictures.:D
