A miller Posted December 21, 2014 Share #4 Posted December 21, 2014 awesome, Sharookh. That's a really great camera. I wonder where the T fits in with a compact and versatile camera such as the 109.

sharookh Posted December 21, 2014 Author Share #6 Posted December 21, 2014 ......... That's a really great camera. I wonder where the T fits in with a compact and versatile camera such as the 109. Frankly Adam - ever since I got the 109, I haven't used the T at all. The 109 covers my ideal "Leica focal lengths" with a fast aperture, a superb optic and stealthy size........! I love it!!!

Louis Posted December 21, 2014 Share #11 Posted December 21, 2014 This is absolutely superb, Shahrookh. A great portrait that gives me some hopes for my 109 since I have not had much time to use it often yet! BTW, I have some filters from the film days that I tried to use on 109 via an adapter ring. But I had some problems. Sometimes the zoom was giving me "error" !... I called the Leica technical support and they told me it is very possible that the filter is causing that problem. I was very disappointed!... Did you use your 109 with any filter, and if so, did it work properly?...
fotografr Posted December 21, 2014 Share #12 Posted December 21, 2014 I completely agree with what has already been said here. This is an outstanding portrait and the b&w conversion is expertly handled.
StS Posted December 21, 2014 Share #13 Posted December 21, 2014 Fully agree with the others, another very fine example of your outstanding control of tonal ranges, Sharookh. Stefan
sharookh Posted December 22, 2014 Author Share #14 Posted December 22, 2014 BTW, I have some filters from the film days that I tried to use on 109 via an adapter ring. But I had some problems. Sometimes the zoom was giving me "error" !... I called the Leica technical support and they told me it is very possible that the filter is causing that problem. I was very disappointed!... Did you use your 109 with any filter, and if so, did it work properly?... No filters Louis. Frankly the only one I have now from my SLR days is a neutral density which I have retained. Apart from that, I play with tones in post........ Much depending on the mood of the image. No filters in this image though. In a previous image entitled "Kitty Party", I've applied a green filter to the image. It has been recently posted......... I must confess, I look forward to your images ...... More so, as they have such a big impact inspite of being taken with such a small camera!!!!
