lct Posted December 19, 2014 Share #21 Â Posted December 19, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Better avoiding variables and discrepancies to do comparos IMHO. Filter / no filter... Auto WB on different FoVs... One can do better folks . Luigi, there is probably some difference in colour rendition out of lenses like yours but i would redo the test w/o lens recognition to be sure. FWIW.
Advertisement Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Hi lct, Take a look here Amazing color difference 90 cron to 35 Lux. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Nordvik Posted December 19, 2014 Share #22  Posted December 19, 2014 I did a test with three 50mm this summer. 3,5 Elmar, Jupiter 8 and 2,0 Planar ZM. With the first set I chose the same temp and tint in Aperture. For the second set i used Daylight in camera. Welcome, dear visitor! Nordvik Posted December 19, 2014 Share #23  Posted December 19, 2014 The same lenses. With and without lens detection. Welcome, dear visitor! wizard Posted December 19, 2014 Share #24 Â Posted December 19, 2014 I don't see any significant colour inconsistency between 35/1.4 FLE and 90/2 apo personally but i may be wrong. I would redo the comparo in manual WB mode and w/o filter, or with the same filter on both lenses to be sure. Â +
CheshireCat Posted December 19, 2014 Share #25 Â Posted December 19, 2014 I would redo the comparo in manual WB mode and w/o filter, or with the same filter on both lenses to be sure. Â And also stopping down the 35 to f/4. Some lenses wide open may impart global color cast to the image. Not that I noticed it with the 35 FLE, but you never know. otto.f Posted December 19, 2014 Share #26 Â Posted December 19, 2014 Â I had a hard time doing it, give it go and post... Â I find that typical for the M240; very difficult to get the same WB in C1 for two identical shots from identical lenses from an M and an M9
Nordvik Posted December 19, 2014 Share #27  Posted December 19, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I also took some pictures with a 21mm SEM and a 28 Biogon ZM. Again, with and without lens detection. WB = Daylight in camera. Camera = M9. Notice the difference between the 21mm pictures at 100%. There is some color correction even at (near) center when coded. otto.f Posted December 19, 2014 Share #28 Â Posted December 19, 2014 As I said the differences here are not as dramatic as with the M240
