pauledell Posted December 15, 2014 Share #2 Â Posted December 15, 2014 Louis, Â A fine example of still photography with the wonderful lighting, tones and crisp sharpness. Â Paul
Iduna Posted December 15, 2014 Share #3 Â Posted December 15, 2014 Louis, Â nice arrangement: nice wine and as it seems the recommemendation of the house. Also good is the rendering and the fine details. With a trick one could perhaps have avoided the reflections on the bottle but only if time had been there for a special session. Keep going with this category. I also miss a special section on the forum.
Louis Posted December 15, 2014 Author Share #4  Posted December 15, 2014 Louis, A fine example of still photography with the wonderful lighting, tones and crisp sharpness.  Paul  Much appreciated, Paul; thanks for your visit.  Louis, nice arrangement: nice wine and as it seems the recommemendation of the house. Also good is the rendering and the fine details. With a trick one could perhaps have avoided the reflections on the bottle but only if time had been there for a special session. Keep going with this category. I also miss a special section on the forum.  Your encouraging words are always very much appreciated, dear Iduna. This is not meant to be a "commercial" shot; I am just still experimenting this new camera and trying to get to know it better! I shot it on my coffee table at home, and what you see on the bottle is the refection of my living room windows. I could remove them easily, but preferred to keep them to give more details, light and "life" to the shot!
jedi996sps Posted December 15, 2014 Share #5 Â Posted December 15, 2014 I also experiment with object around the house and outside and sometimes really scratch my head for which section to put them in. Â I actually like the reflections in the bottle :-)... but find the bed/sofa a little distracting.

fotografr Posted December 16, 2014 Share #7 Â Posted December 16, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Seeing it twice would be fine with me, but I only see one image--and a very fine one at that. I support your idea for a Still Life section. I'm sure Dee would go along with it as well. She's posted some fine examples.

Hank Taylor Posted December 16, 2014 Share #10 Â Posted December 16, 2014 Very nice Louis, I like that wine too will wait when I return to get another bottle, here it would be too expensive for my taste. I'm glad to see you are working through your new camera this is looking more like your old stuff;) Hank
