epand56 Posted December 14, 2014 Share #1 Â Posted December 14, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does anybody in the forum use a Fotodiox M39 LTM LSM Lens to LEICA M adapter? I need an adapter 50/75 and need some advice on which one to buy. I've also seen this one from Sweden: 6 Bit M39 LTM LSM Lens to LEICA M 50-75 Adapter M8 M9 | eBay Any help is very appreciated. Thanks.

Lenshacker Posted December 14, 2014 Share #2 Â Posted December 14, 2014 For a 50mm lens, should be fine. Of the cheap adapters that I've tried, the Foto-Diox is better than average. Â The Voigtlander adapters made by Cosina and original Leica made adapters(if undamaged) are the best. I use these for the wide-angle and telephoto lenses. For these lenses, the thickness of the adapter is critical for actual focus and the rangefinder to agree. I've also found the vintage Japanese adapters to be good, but they pop up infrequently. The last one cost me $19 with shipping, was marked "5cm", usually the centimeter markings denote a vintage adapter.
microview Posted December 14, 2014 Share #3  Posted December 14, 2014 The Voigtlander adapters made by Cosina …. are the best. (As new purchases.) +1  A more expensive Rayqual LTM–M I once bought proved yo be well out of tolerance.
