}{B Posted December 12, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted December 12, 2014 Thanks for the comments. This side of the mountain is much more rugged than the south side which is grass. Luckily the route to the top follows the grass and it only becomes rocky very near the summit. As for the tones I had to do a bit of adjusting in Lightroom to get the sky looking acceptable so perhaps that accounts for it.
Michael Hiles Posted December 13, 2014 Share #6 Posted December 13, 2014 Quietly, remotely beautiful.
platypus Posted December 13, 2014 Share #7 Posted December 13, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Really quite beautiful with it's muted colours, also the positioning of the light and shadow areas seems perfect, I particularly like the fact that the foreground is not in shadow, it seems to lead the eye into the landscape.

Bateleur Posted December 19, 2014 Share #9 Posted December 19, 2014 Lovely interplay of shadow on the slopes and the colours are fabulous. A candidate to be framed and hung on the wall? Regards Charles
