pauledell Posted December 9, 2014 Share #2 Posted December 9, 2014 XV, A fine shot with the strong contrast that makes this so effective. Paul
A miller Posted December 9, 2014 Share #3 Posted December 9, 2014 XV - you hit the nail on the head. this is an example of a decisive moment - albeit perhaps a little subtle - that steals this wonderful moment right out from under these lovely ladies. The expressions are subtle, but they capture a vibe that is super cool. This is an example of how photos sometimes lie in that the moment captured could tell any number of different stories. The B&W helps this. Can't speak for other's, but this is my kind of photo that interests me a lot. It's photos like these that should be kept in the ice box for 10 years and then defrosted PS - with a shot like this you shouldn't make any efforts to explain how it was made or the context. you don't owe it to anyone. Just let it speak for itself. my two cents.

Paul Thanks Paul, yes, the contrast is there because this is a night shot.
