wslam Posted December 5, 2014 Share #1 Â Posted December 5, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) i have a black Leica Summilux 35/1.4 FLE. According to every reference I could find, the black version should be 11663, the silver should be 11675. However, my black 35 FLE clearly has 11675 engraved on it! How could this be? Can someone shed some lights for me? Thanks.

james.liam Posted December 7, 2014 Share #8 Â Posted December 7, 2014 Perfect time to sell to a collector, and if you really prefer the FLE, wait for the first month or two after the ZM 1,4/35 appears and pick up a great used FLE for a steep discount. Â Â Really? there are people who collect this kind of 'defect'? I find it quite 'cool'. I doubt I will sell it. luigi bertolotti Posted December 7, 2014 Share #12 Â Posted December 7, 2014 11675 is such a recent code that maybe you coould ask Leica an explanation about this misengraving... did you buy it when the Silver was already on pricelist ? And box and warranty... which code do they report ?

wslam Posted December 7, 2014 Author Share #14 Â Posted December 7, 2014 I did email Leica. Waiting for their reply. The box says 11663. I have had this lens for quite some time, but I never really looked until a few days ago. I had to look and look again to make sure I didn't get it wrong... To keep it in mint condition in 20 yrs is not impossible! I take pretty good care of my stuff. You have just given me an excellent excuse to get the ZM35/1.
