Robert you point is well taken sometimes color wins out because it does disclose understatement that B/w may find hard to match.

I should have mentioned this was taken with the D600 and a LeicaR 60mm 2.8

Also Color for me this time as it better transmit the tenderness of the lady's face. Did you cropped her hand in post?

Acturally I cropped 100 % her hand and fingers were out of perportion to the face and distracting.

I like both versions Hank, but I prefer the b/w version. I am much more concentrated on her eyes in this version.
