Advertisement Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Hi gyoung, Take a look here Tapatalk. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
gyoung Posted December 7, 2014 Author Share #2 Â Posted December 7, 2014 I've given up on it, even when I used the mobile version it kept opening sub headings in Tapatalk. So I uninstalled it, couldn't even find a way of giving them a bad review. Â Gerry
pop Posted December 7, 2014 Share #3 Â Posted December 7, 2014 I've given up on it, even when I used the mobile version it kept opening sub headings in Tapatalk. Â Sorry, I can't understand what the problem is. Â I routinely use Tapatalk much of the time and there aren't many things I can't do. However, it works quite differently from the way you use the site in a web browser. But then, that is its purpose.
gyoung Posted December 7, 2014 Author Share #4 Â Posted December 7, 2014 I was very happy with it until the latest update, now the 'browse' option is not there and so you have to go back to the beginning every time i.e. the International Forum, and I have been unable to get it to tell me if there are new posts in a thread, it simply lists them in order of last contribution and leaves you to work down it until you come to one with no new posts. The header to each thread also takes up a large space so that only a few threads will fit on a screen. Quite happy with the mobile format via the web browser! pop Posted December 8, 2014 Share #5 Â Posted December 8, 2014 This doesn't really ring a bell with me. Â However, I think what's new in the latest version is that there are three tabs close to the top of the screen. From your description I'd think that you are seeing the tab page with the "house" icon. The "man" icon would bring up the page you are looking for, with a list of the forums you usually use.
gyoung Posted December 12, 2014 Author Share #6 Â Posted December 12, 2014 Yes indeed, but its what happens after that which I found illogical, time wasting and no where near as good as the previous version, and not as simple as the mobile friendly version of the normal web site, which I am now using again happily. I have uninstalled Tapatalk for now, maybe I'll try it again later. Â Gerry
