Last week we still had that nice warm November weather. A short moment of golden light was there and it was just time enough to run with the tripod from one angle to the other.

These lovely shots remind me of my youth when I went hunting for rabbits and quail. Wonderful colors with the lighting. And no, in all my years of hunting, I never killed any game. Some said I was a lousy hunter but I like to believe I was just compassionate.

thank you very much for this personal response. If pictures can evoke memories this is what we all are working at. "Shooting" pictures by the way is a sort of "hunting" isn't it? It's in the genes to do a kind of collecting, harvesting, hunting etc.
