really like 28mm for street photography or moving fast, but my Ricoh GR is literally perfect for this application..

Well sure yeah, but I meant out of what I have already.

I have the Ricoh GR with its excellent 28mm equivalent lens and often take it along with the 75 cron asph mounted on the M9. That way I do not have to change lenses.

 

For critical applications the 28 elmarit asph is better in my opinion but the GR does a very good job (e.g. Ming Thein finds the GR is actually better but I cannot agree). My main complaint is getting the colour balance to match between the two cameras. I have never been able to get a profile which aligns them properly.

 

Otherwise I often take the 35 summilux asph because it gives me an excellent lens for night shots as well as general purpose and moderate w/a during the day. Paired, again, with the 75.

 

I have other lenses and combos but the two above seem to win out most of the time over the last year or so.

Say I wanted a 21mm, if my choices were limited (due to budget) to the Zeiss 21mm options or the voigtlander 21mm f/1.8 ultron which would you choose for an M240?
