I have noticed that I have reached my 40,000th post. I have certainly enjoyed this venture and I cherish all the friends I have met on the forum. I know that I don't post my work as much as I discuss the pictures that the rest of you do but that's the way I hope to encourage and enlighten the rest of you.

I have selected some old files taken in the 1970's with a Leica M4 with a 50mm Summicron. Whenever I look at these pictures, I smile at the magic of Christmas.

 

Oh come check out the decorations in the window. I wish I was back in my younger days.

Paul, every time you share a picture, 1 picture, my heart accelerates. now that you share more than one of such a wonderful and magical theme which I personally love the most "Christmas" I can tell you that my heart is dancing in joy. Loved the first one and the one of the bored boy:-)

Paul, these are fantastic--thanks for sharing. I especially love how the third picture captures so much of Christmas: the shopping, the church reflected in the store's window, people enjoying time together, and children getting impatient!
