M2 mount question

I recently picked up a M2 and when I mount a lens it can easily be turned so any of the frame lines show up. In fact, it can be turned so the lens actually can be dismounted without pushing the release button. I see there is a screw on release button, will this help the problem?

 

I have had the same lens on a M3 and never had this problem. Thanks for the help.

So it doesn't click in . Probably the spring in the release mechanism is broken. Have the camera serviced.

Well thats the thing, it does click in...but I can turn it if I want. I'm assuming it is the same issue regardless. Thanks for the help.

Or the little bolt that locks it is worn.

Or just try to turn the screw, it might be lose. Normal, right hand wind.
