DEAR MODERATOR.............. This image (Autumn sun through the trees) has not posted as I had expected and a serious blemish has arrived right in the centre.

I have been looking how to edit/remove the entire post but cannot find guidance.

Please will you delete the entire post for me.

Grateful thanks.

Richard

Happy Eighth Birthday to the thread!  :)  I started the thread after being impressed with the versatility and results from the little camera that became known as 'Elsie' in our house.  Originally bought for my wife to use, but long commandeered by me ;)

So, thanks to all participants for their inputs showcasing what a little marvel the camera is.  Long may we continue to do so.  OK, time to upload something from Elsie but as the downpours continue, it will have to be a hastily arranged still-life.

I think it's a very underrated little camera, Keith, so much so that since they're regrettably discontinued I decided to look for a second one in case mine should decide to start a new life as a door stop or I should foolishly accidentally abandon it somewhere on a journey.  I found that they hold their used value surprisingly well to the point that I eventually found one of its Panasonic equivalent siblings the Lumix DMC-LF1, which of course is an equally good camera with a Leica branded lens.

Due to circumstances this year, my little C has seen little use until last week during a visit to the Plantin-Moretus Museum in Antwerp. The courtyard garden (a jpeg edited in Apple Photos)
