Firoze , when we were in Mumbai a couple of years ago we were part of a formal tour from the UK with an American company so were restricted very much to the downtown areas and missed these colourful sights. I guess the only way to explore wider would be to come again on a self organized visit. As with all things Indian, it is the vibrant colours which are so stunning which the C captures brilliantly. Thank you for sharing.

@leica dream. Formal tours are convenient, but you do miss out on not being able to explore the non-touristy areas. If you do come to Mumbai again, I would be happy to show you around, or at least give you tips on which areas to explore.

Have been neglecting both my (wife's) C and this thread fro a while - good to see that the good work is being kept up!   ;)  Took a couple of images this morning which served (yet again) to remind me what a little gem this camera is.

Bottlebrush plant (Callistemon) and bee.

Another example of local flora. C in close-up mode, uncropped but with vignette added.

Perched on top of our (dusty) Nespresso machine this morning. Circa 1cm long - no idea what it is (apart from being Spanish - because that is where we are).

I see that Leica have launched a "new" C-compact Traveller....................but I cannot see much difference from the type 112 which I have had for a couple of years.

different camera

larger sensor

larger sized (marginally)

see  https://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/285614-new-c-lux-20mp-1-sensor-24-360mm-equivalent-lens/

Indeed, the C Typ 112 was based on the Panasonic LF-1. The new C-Lux is based on the Panasonic TZ200. The name "C-Lux" fits nice into the range of Leica branded compact cameras, "V-Lux" and "D-lux".

Found an interesting video that compared the Panasonic versions on YouTube as a travel camera. Search for Lumix ZS200 vs LX100 vs FZ1000.
