Lift Off! Well, those in the basket are certainly hoping so...

A shot taken before #122 and it was only after this that I realised the breeze would take it (and others) drifting over the river.

PS - I really will have to stop showing my wife the results achieved with the C (which is actually her camera) as it only tends to lead to questions such as "why on earth do you need all those other cameras?" etc.

I have to ask myself the exact same question--I just bought a Q

I think wives must have a secret network because after seeing my first images with my C, my wife asked why ever do I need to cart that bulky V-Lux around when I have this little gem in my pocket. Maybe she has a point - the V is 10 years old and there is such a difference in the results - for the better.

the difference can be seen when you actually make a print... on a screen (iPad/iphone/computer) it is very difficult to tell the difference.....the bigger the print the bigger the difference....

my problem- is that i am running out of wall space

I have printed some to 8" x 10" and they look good. Have yet to try them at A3+ though!

Yer not *that* old, are yer Mr Keith?

The charger for Frau Capucho's Leica C lost itself sometime after our Sardinia holiday, but was found again the other day. Hoping we have a few more images on the chip that I'll post here sometime soon.

Meanwhile, charmed that this thread continues to thrive. So yay to the underdog!

No, not quite - a mere 69 as of last Sunday :)

You record to the internal memory rather than a card?  Must confess I've never done that as (1) I always shoot raw + jpg and (2) find it easier to transfer from a card rather than start another "hunt the cable" session.  Anyway, look forward to seeing your images.

Fantastic depth of field on each picture - in focus from front to back.

Was that with Aperture priority or just letting the camera do its own thing on P?

Both pictures were taken in "P" mode, auto white balance at ISO 800. Just had a look and aperture was 2.0. Shutter speed of the last one was 1/30.

Regards
