A smooth departure - passing the Isle of Wight last week aboard Brittany Ferries 'Cap Finistere', bound for Bilbao.  The little 'C' at full stretch!   :)

Though I already have a CL as a backup for my M9, I thought it would be good to have a truly pocketable camera for certain situations, primarily taking pics at concerts. I've had my eye on a C for a number of years because I really liked the size, so recently I decided to pull the trigger and get a (gently) used one, despite the fact that it is already an old camera. I considered the C-Lux, but with the type of shots I want to use the camera for, concert and low light pics, I needed something with a faster lens (I did consider a Sony RX100, but in the end, I got the C for a pretty decent price). It arrived yesterday and I'm very happy with the size. I'm thinking I'll be taking it with me as my backup camera to my M9 on my forthcoming trip to Mexico City. Anyway, my cat seems to always know when a trip is coming up and he, Waldo, starts to spend time inside my luggage. I found him inside one of my bags today, and so I decided to try out the C.

Wanting to also check out the wi-fi feature, I sent the pics to my iPhone X, and edited them on the phone in Snapseed (I'll probably be doing the editing on my iPad in Mexico). Then I sent them to my desktop (hooray for AirDrop) and resized them for here.

Saludos,

Santiago

Enjoying the evening sun.

PS - I sometimes wonder why I bother with a bag full of cameras/lenses - the C (actually my wife's) is such a versatile/capable/pocketable marvel!
