pauledell Posted November 14, 2014 Share #2 Posted November 14, 2014 John, A lovely framing with fine colors and crisp sharpness. I might even like to see it in b&w. Paul
Louis Posted November 14, 2014 Share #3 Posted November 14, 2014 Wonderful! My type of photo!
leica dream Posted November 14, 2014 Share #4 Posted November 14, 2014 I really like this image. Not only is it so sharp, but if you pause and look at it in detail, the number of different colours contrasting with one another is incredible. Really enjoyable and a real help for my lack of artistic talent when setting composition. Richard
platypus Posted November 14, 2014 Share #5 Posted November 14, 2014 Nice shot of a charming building! It's interesting that, while the barn looks to be quite elderly, it's roof appears to have been recently renewed....so someone is using it and maintaining it. Jan W. Tromp Posted November 20, 2014 Share #8 Posted November 20, 2014 Nice photo of the subject. Next (IMO) is make an interesting photo of it. I would suggest first to go closer and second go to the other side and face the sun. (at least a bit) From there you can find and see the light "playing" on on the barn, all bonuses. Use a part of the barn, show me the old wood, etc etc. You saw the barn as the subject and you are right, now you should make the most of it and I'm sure you are easily capable doing much better:-)
